This time I was in a middle of a long flight and was unable to address the issue in a timely manner, and hosting staff has suspended the entire domain, including vital back-end services and even the mail server. Given that it took me a plenty of time get properly notified and more make an action especially with no access to the mailbox. To make long story short, the primary target of attacks (forum) is now located on a dedicated domain: https://www.forumzmodeler.com . This domain is wrapped to protection services by CloudFlare with strong counter-bot rules applied. The main ZModeler server as being accessed by variety of back-end services (and not just human/users) has a softer rules set but is still wrapped to CloudFlare protection shield too. To my observation, this combination works fine and allows to suspend just one victim at a time if needed. As quite many of you have been affected by this service outage, the account page has a small announcement regarding some bonus time. This is the 8 to 10 bonus days that are added to the newly-purchased licenses in upcoming month. The extra time depends on the date of your active license validation before the outage. Note, the bonus is applied to purchase license if you still have an active paid license on your account. If you were affected by the outage and wasted several days of your active license, I advise to make a new purchase before license expiration to get the bonus time compensated. I understand that your work plans might have been seriously affected by service interruption and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. |
